When and where?
Letcombe v Fairford Town
Uhlsport Hellenic Division One West
Tuesday 27th December, 2pm
What’s the story?
The Reds are back in action on Tuesday 27th December, two weeks after their last competitive action which came in the Floodlit Cup against Henley Town with a 2-1 win.
There should be plenty of selection options for manager Gareth Davies with only Jack Ellis (knee) unavailable for the game along with Jason Milhench who will serve the first of a two game suspension. Dan Drewett and Lee Smith will offer options out wide whilst striker Danny Hale, with six goals in five reserve team games, will be hoping for some game time.
Letcombe are always tough opposition and go into the game in 11th spot with four wins from 14 league games to date.
Last time out…
Fairford’s home game with Milton was postponed on Saturday 17th December, whilst Letcombe were narrowly beaten (3-2) at Hook Norton.
Last time at Letcombe…
The Reds’ last visit to Letcombe was back in April with a 2-0 win enough to seal the deal thanks to goals from Luke Cordery and Jack Ellis.
Interestingly five of Fairford’s starting line-up that day are no longer with the club.
Tickets will be available on the day of the game from Letcombe.
