Bevan’s praise for new recruit

NEW signing Josh Gregory made his Fairford Town debut on Saturday following his loan switch from Swindon Supermarine.

The midfielder, formerly with Hungerford Town, played 90 minutes during the 4-4 draw with Ascot United in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

Manager Jody Bevan praised the efforts of the Reds’ latest new recruit.

“Josh did really well considering he has not been playing at Supermarine.

“I was really impressed with his fitness levels and his attitude. He gave us a drive in midfield that has been lacking at times this season.”

Gregory is expected to be part of the squad that takes on Tuffley Rovers this Wednesday (7.45pm).
