NICK Jones has joined the Reds for the 2017/18 season as the squad-shaping at Cinder Lane continues.
The 33-year old is looking forward to the challenge of returning to regular football after missing much of the last few seasons as he carves out a career as a fitness model.
He lists the likes of Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham Saracens and Shortwood United amongst his previous clubs and is eager to kick-start his career at Cinder Lane.
“I am really excited about playing this season and I can see what JB (Jody Bevan) and Smudge (Chris Smith) are trying to do,” he said.
“The club want to move forward and I want to be a part of that.
“There are some fantastic players at the club and I am very much looking forward to getting the season underway.”
Jones added: “Over the last few years my weekends and time have been taken up with work as I am working on building a profile as a fitness model which has taken a lot of dedication. Now I have reached a good point in my career I am able to finally commit fully to football again.”
