MANAGER Jody Bevan has praised the attitude and impact of loan signing Conor Lynch, as he looks to give the Hungerford Town striker further game time in a Reds’ shirt.
Lynch scored on his debut off the bench in the 2-2 draw at Flackwell Heath at the start of the month and has impressed in further appearances for Fairford.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s visit of high-flying Thatcham Town to Cinder Lane, Bevan offered his views on the striker.
“Conor has shown real promise in his three substitute appearances so far. Behind the scenes he has shown a fantastic attitude and I am hoping that he will remain with us for the rest of the season.
“He is highly regarded by Hungerford Town and I am grateful to them for allowing us to have Conor.
“I’m keen to get him playing more time and everybody around the club has been impressed.
“I will have no hesitation to use Conor from the start of games going forward.”
Kick-off is 3pm at Cinder Lane this Saturday with all support welcome. The club and SPIKES Diner will be open from 12pm.
