When and where?
Fairford Town v Milton United
Uhlsport Hellenic Division One West
Cinder Lane, Tuesday 4th April 2017, 7.45pm kick-off
What’s the story?
Fairford Town’s 26th league game of the season could be a defining one as victory would seal the league title. The Reds have been front runners for a while and will look to secure the championship in front of good home support on Tuesday.
There are plenty of selection options for manager Gareth Davies who saw Dan Reynolds and Levi Cox come off the bench at Cirencester on Saturday and both could be in contention again. Lee Smith took his goal tally to 30 with a double strike at the Corinium Stadium and the Reds have not been short on goals this season, with a +94 goal difference as things stand.
Milton come to Cinder Lane in 12th spot with nine wins from 27 games played so far this term. They were without a game on Saturday and drew 0-0 at Shortwood two weeks ago, their last action. Adam Bruce (14) and Tom Austin (10) offer the goal threat up front ahead of what should be a compelling night at GL7.
