FAIRFORD Town will travel a total of 1,588 miles over the course of the forthcoming Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division season.
There are 18 away trips in store for the Reds, the shortest of which will be the 12-mile journey to Shrivenham on Saturday 9th February.
The longest away journey will be to Stag Meadow, the home of Windsor – with Virginia Water also playing their games there this season.
An average trip to an away venue this season will be 42 miles, somewhat less than the division’s average of 95 miles.
Lydney Town will cover the most miles this season, with 2,734 miles needed to cover all their away games.
Fairford’s first away trip of the season will be a short one, as the Reds visit Royal Wootton Bassett Town on Tuesday 11th August – a round trip of 34 miles.
The season begins on Saturday 4th August with Wantage Town the visitors to Cinder Lane (3pm).
